Martha's Table accepts, on limited basis, volunteers who are required by a court to complete community service hours. We are happy to work with you to fulfill your community service obligations, but we cannot accept volunteers who have committed
- a violent crime,
- a sexually related crime,
- a crime involving the use of a weapon
- or any crime against a child.
No one under the influence of drugs or alcohol will be permitted to volunteer. All court ordered volunteers work hours in one of our three locations. Volunteers that are approved may also volunteer at one of our Joyful Food Markets. The Volunteer Manager will approve the service on a case by case basis. We do not provide court-mandated volunteer hours for work not done on site.
To receive the Court-Mandated Volunteer Application, please email us at volunteer@marthastable.org.
We could not do the important work that we do without our dedicated volunteers. Each task –big or small—contributes to our mission, and we are committed to ensuring that your experience here at Martha’s Table reflects our gratitude for your hard work.
